For years, I searched for peace in all the places the world told me to look.

I became Certified in all the things: Advanced Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, Certified Sound Bowl Healer and Health Coach.

I practiced Reiki. I did Qi-Gong and Yoga. I pulled oracle cards. I built a wellness business around meditation, crystals, sound healing, energy healing and spiritual self-help.

On the outside, it looked like I had found my calling. On the inside, I still felt lost.

What started as a sincere desire to heal turned into a confusing maze of spiritual practices that promised clarity but often led to deeper questions. The more I tried to “align” and “manifest,” the more disconnected I became—from truth, from peace, and from God.

Then something happened that changed everything: I encountered Jesus—not as an energy, not as an ascended master, but as the living, loving Son of God.

It wasn’t instant. It was slow and unexpected. But once I saw the truth, I couldn’t unsee it. Jesus kept calling. God kept whispering. Until one day I was given a bible from a stranger on the street. In that moment, I surrendered.

Salt+Light Society was born from that moment of awakening.

This space isn’t for preaching at you or pointing fingers. It’s for people like us—the seekers, the sensitive souls, the ones who meant well but got caught in something that wasn’t what it seemed. Maybe you’re starting to see the cracks in it too. Maybe you’re wondering if there’s more—something real, something solid, something that doesn’t shift with every moon cycle or new method.

Here, we unlearn the confusion and deception of the New Age and learn to walk in truth.

Gently. Honestly. Together.

Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). I didn’t understand what that meant until I stepped away from spiritual self-reliance and into God’s grace.

Ask questions. Explore. Be curious. But above all, know this: you don’t have to figure it all out on your own anymore. There is a way out—and it leads to the only One who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
